Scholarships

Thanks to our sponsors and Australian Progress Inner Circle members applications are open for FWD + Organise 2017 Scholarships for unwaged activists, and delegates from small or grassroots organisations, especially from regional and remote communities.

We keep the FWD + Organise 2017 ticket fee as low as possible, and it’s great value for a two-day conference. Still, we know that not every digital change-maker or organising activist who would benefit from attending can afford it. We’ll prioritise full scholarships for individuals facing high travel costs and/or other barriers to attend the conference.

Applications for scholarships close on 23 October, unless they’re all filled earlier and successful applicants are required to pay for their tickets within 1 week of notification of their scholarships.

The standard scholarship tickets are $99 + GST (approximately 30% of the full ticket price), however in some circumstances, where people could not otherwise attend we will to provide further support with fully-covered tickets.

We’ll prioritise full scholarships for individuals of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage, with refugee or asylum seeking experience, or applicants with a disability. Please note we also provide free tickets for support workers or carers accompanying attendees with a disability.
