Documentary storytelling and impact campaign specialist
Teri’s career has spanned almost 20 years across both the film industry and the not-for-profit sector. In the not-for-profit sector Teri has worked in communications, advocacy, strategy and fundraising roles for organisations including Greenpeace, the Medical Association for the Prevention of War, Jubilee Australia and the Council for International Development. She spent almost five years working with Screen Australia, first managing the agency’s communications and then in her final year with Screen Australia managing the agency’s feature film distribution program. She has also worked with boutique distributors running national marketing and publicity campaigns for social change feature documentaries and has co-distributed two feature films. Most recently, Teri was an impact producer with Media Stockade, a production company specialising in documentary storytelling and impact campaigns where she led the company's impact campaign consultancy. She is currently working as a freelance impact producer with NITV and on Larissa Behrendt's feature documentary After The Apology.
Impact Producer, BLUE
Sarah has worked in the film and television sector for over 20 years, working across many platforms including documentary, feature film, visual effects, television commercials and long form children’s television. The majority of Sarah's work has been in documentary production, delivering natural history programs with an emphasis on the ocean stories and subjects to international networks. She has just completed a feature length documentary film called BLUE, about the Industrialisation of our Ocean and the Guardians working to protect it. Using the film as an impact tool, BLUE also has a two year outreach campaign in planning. As Impact Producer Sarah is responsible for the development and management of this campaign. Outside the film and television sector Sarah works with Take 3, a grassroots organisation giving a global voice on marine debris and a clean ocean initiative. Currently she works as project and outreach manager for the Take 3 Surf Life Saving clubs program and hold a position as a Director on the Take 3 Board.
Advertising Director, Equality Campaign
Helen is Advertising Director at the Equality Campaign, and played a key role in producing the campaign’s powerful human interest stories and TV commercials. Previously she worked as a television Series Producer and Director in the UK, until she moved to Sydney with her Australian wife two years ago. She has worked for the BBC and other major UK channels, producing and directing documentary, factual and investigative series.
