Documentary storytelling and impact campaign specialist
Teri’s career has spanned almost 20 years across both the film industry and the not-for-profit sector. In the not-for-profit sector Teri has worked in communications, advocacy, strategy and fundraising roles for organisations including Greenpeace, the Medical Association for the Prevention of War, Jubilee Australia and the Council for International Development. She spent almost five years working with Screen Australia, first managing the agency’s communications and then in her final year with Screen Australia managing the agency’s feature film distribution program. She has also worked with boutique distributors running national marketing and publicity campaigns for social change feature documentaries and has co-distributed two feature films. Most recently, Teri was an impact producer with Media Stockade, a production company specialising in documentary storytelling and impact campaigns where she led the company's impact campaign consultancy. She is currently working as a freelance impact producer with NITV and on Larissa Behrendt's feature documentary After The Apology.

Tessa is a change maker and framing expert who tells stories to change the world. She works across engagement, fundraising and campaigning, where she inspires and skills up ACF’s community to stand up and speak out. She has a PhD in cultural studies and a background in academia, law and design. She has also trained with digital fundraising experts Mike Whitney and Nicole Aro and messaging guru Anat Shenker-Osorio through Progress’ experts-in-residence program. Tessa has green thumbs, lots of coloured pencils and big dreams for a more beautiful world.
