In 2015 Reece was chair of the Sydney Organising Committee for the People’s Climate March – the largest and most diverse of its kind ever held in Sydney. Reece first began campaigning on climate change during the years he spent working in community development in the Kingdom of Tonga. Since joining WWF in 2012, he has focused on new strategies to engage, support and organise non-traditional allies on climate change, including the Faith community, Health sector, Pacific Islander community, Farming community and Firefighting community. He is passionate about exploring the ways behavioural economics, digital mobilising and relational organising can work together to broaden and strengthen participation in democracy.

Stephanie began her life as an activist with Greenpeace in the 90's, and has since been an organiser/educator with the Trade Union movement. During this time she has worked for the NSW state public service union (PSA). and the council of trade unions (ACTU). Stephanie has also worked for the Sydney Alliance as a Community Organiser. Her most recent role was Organising Manager at the PSA, where she worked with her peers to transition the union to an organising focus. Stephanie has strong skills in facilitation, training, relationship building and mentoring and she is excited to be working with the climate movement to build and exercise power to create the change we want.
Advocacy Advisor and Campaign Coach
Anita is an independent advocacy advisor and campaign coach, and one of Australia’s most respected public health campaigners. Until recently, she spent 12 years at Cancer Council NSW as Manager, Policy & Advocacy and Director of Health Strategies. She has played a leading role in securing federal and state government support around tobacco control, cancer screening, and support for cancer survivors. Previously she worked with the Community Services Commission of NSW. Anita has a Bachelor of Arts, and a Masters in Administrative Law and Policy, both from the University of Sydney. She was awarded a Fellowship for the Stanford University Executive Program for Non-profit leaders, and completed the Harvard Kennedy School program on Leading Organizing and Action.
Director, Change Agency
James has worked with small and large civil society organisations including Greenpeace, Amnesty International and the Wilderness Society on campaigns to protect forests, promote clean air and uphold human rights. He has also been a researcher, research manager and lecturer at several Australian universities, publishing widely on popular education and social movements, participatory democracy and environmental politics. He has spoken at national and international conferences. James' passions come together in his work as director of the Change Agency, a not-for-profit which provides education, training, facilitation and action research support for social change groups in Australia and the Pacific. James has facilitated campaign planning, decision-making and evaluation workshops and meetings with hundreds of social movement organisations in the Australia-Pacific region, working with groups of up 1000. He lives in Newcastle in the Awabakal nation.
Digital Campaigns Manager, Essential
Kim leads the digital and production team at Essential and is a digital communications specialist. She spends her days (and most nights) developing evidence-based strategies and implementing them through digital technology. Kim also has extensive experience in advertising, website development, user experience and supporter engagement to drive successful campaigns. Kim is a firm believer in the power of narratives and networks to create impact. She has worked with many organisations to develop websites and digital campaigns including National Disability Services, Luke Batty Foundation, WWF, Australia, AMCS, Australian Education Union and more.
