WHAT IS FWD+ORGANISE?

FWD+Organise is our premier conference for community organisers and digital campaigners from across Australia and Aotearoa to share practical skills, learn innovative approaches to advocacy and build lasting collaborations to win systemic change. The types of sessions featured include keynotes, workshops, masterclasses and expert briefings. The 2021 program focused on centring communities with lived experience, highlighting winning case studies during the pandemic and tactics to win on our issues in the upcoming Federal Election. WHERE AND WHEN?

FWD+Organise runs approximately every two years, happening most recently in 2017, 2019 and 2021. Previously it has been held in both Sydney and Melbourne, or online with social events in major cities.

FWD+Organise will next run in 2023.

WHO ATTENDS?

FWD+Organise convened 350 leading grassroots, industrial and community organisers as well as digital advocates, campaigners and activists from organisations representing all sectors across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
